Welcome to the Dortmund Dispatch

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Terry Duffelen, author of Borussia Dortmund: A history in black and yellow.

This newsletter will be published on a weekly (or more) basis throughout the 2023-24 Bundesliga season. It is a newsletter that is about Borussia Dortmund and for Dortmund fans.

But instead of just focusing on news and issues I’ll be writing about the Bundesliga season and how it relates to Dortmund.

There is a significant number of news outlets dedicated to the latest event at the Westfalenstadion updating on a daily basis. I’m not really here for that. My intention is to create a newsletter that reflects on recent results and news, across the league in terms of what it means or how it relates to Borussia Dortmund.
